A Home With a View

Last week we taped a video of an incredible home on Kent Island. It's 22,000 sq. ft. and has majestic views of the Chesapeake Bay and the Bay Bridge. It was a beautiful day and I could envision the family we're working with living there and enjoying life. That's what we like to do. Listen to you, work with the team we put together, and make you happy. The interior designer has been adding his selections over the last weeks, and the home is really coming to life with tiles & marbles I've never seen before.

Working together is truly a passion with me. I get such a thrill seeing a client's ideas come to life. Watch for the video in a few weeks!

Challenging Projects

As a custom builder, one of my greatest joys is hearing your ideas, and then figuring out how to make them happen. We’ve had some interesting projects over the past 20 years, and we continue to be surprised. We recently built a home on the Eastern Shore, and incorporated a real plane into the Family Room through the window. The result was amazing, but it did involve some serious configuring. Homes are individual environments and we strive to produce the look and feel you want. Make sure you have the right team surrounding you when you build your home.

So, when I was asked about my most challenging project…I answered, “I'm still waiting for it!”

We Hear You

I was recently interviewed about the relationships I have with my customers. When asked what was crucial to the relationship, I considered many different factors, but one stood out. Listening is the most important skill in home building. We envision each house we build as a backdrop for your cherished memories. We want to know how you want to live. Creating a home that you love that enhances your lifestyle is our greatest reward.

After 20 years of building homes, we understand that everyone has to be on the same page throughout the entire process. We love what we do and want you to love your home when it's done.

Renovation in Great Falls

We recently started a large renovation in Great Falls, VA. The scope involves many internal updates in the home. As we discussed what needed to be done with our client, an interesting idea emerged. As long as were renovating, why not convert the heat/AC to a Geothermal System? Geothermal will drastically lower your heating and air conditioning bills by using the grounds temperature to regulate your air. At Visnic Homes we've installed many of these systems, and everyone is thrilled with them. In fact, I have one in my home.

Think you're ready for a little "Green" in your home? Give me a call. Let's discuss it.

Visnichomes.com Goes Mobile!

One of the reasons Visnic Homes has stayed at the forefront of custom building is our attention to trends. The wireless revolution is one of those trends that is only going to get bigger. Recognizing this, we've developed a mobile website that can go anywhere with you! If you have a smartphone, our software will detect it and give you the chance to access the mobile site. It's very easy to use and see. We even added a map with Google directions so you can follow your phone to any of our communities.

This site will feature everything you can find on our regular website: photos, communities, portfolio of homes, and much more.

Give us a try! VisnicHomes.com/mobile
